Scratchy's not a bad old dog really, for a boy.

Sometimes, it's comfortable having him around.

Other times, of course, a girl needs her space.

I have finally overcome my greyhound phobia: I saw one a few weeks ago and I didn't flinch. Instead, I stopped to admire its beauty. It was like the dark one in the above photos.
