Petition from my dogs
September 22nd 2009 01:11
Dear Big Boss,
We, the undersigned, respectively request that you give us our own blogs on Orble just like our mate Roux 'b Doux has been given one. See here.
We think we can write just as well Roux — well, Daisy might be able to; there is a suspicion Scratchy would have trouble spelling his own name.
We note that Roux has already written about many interesting things, including a Dog's Rights to Eat Poo, and we respectfully request the same rights to voice our opinions.
If you agree, we will stop whining outside your bedroom door at 6am for a week.
Yours respectfully,
Daisy

What'ud yer want u blog site for? We drop our blogs in ther orchard, is'n yer back yard good enuf fer yu?
Clyde.
Dear Daisy,
I do applaud your stand for Canine Rights, but isn't THIS your blog site? I thought Mr. Champion just borrowed it at times; after all it is called Greyhound Zoomies not Champion Zoomies or Big Boss Zoomies. We'd love to read Roux's Blog but we can't open it from your <here> and don't know how to find it otherwise. The Missus says she will ban us from reading it if we decide to take up eating our poo, she says one of the things she likes about Greyhounds is that they don't go in for that disgusting habit.
Your friend
Heidi.

I don't want one. It was Daisy's idea. I'd prefer an orchard.

Heidi darling,
So lovely to have someone who understands. Of course, it's not quite that simple - one has to let Big Boss think it's his blog, his bed, his house etc, but he is at the end of the day just a boy, and boys aren't hard to control for clever girls like us.
Nosies,
D

Thanks for fixing up the way into Roux's blog. Did you see we get a mention? Clyde is going to get a big head again. I'm not sure about all the things Roux says are a dogs right though. Perhaps elegant Poodle dogs have greater needs than plain retired racers like us. Clyde says all he needs is good food, warm hugs and a patch in the sun. I need my bed too, but I don't share it with anyone, not even the Boss and the Missus. Actually he does too, he's the one that growls at all the foster hounds when they invade his space. Silly old fool!
Heidi.
