Greyhounds make great pests

There are greyhound lovers everywhere. I just found one in a quiet corner of the internet and I love the message she wrote, which is both the proclamation of a convertee to the cause of greyhounds as great pets, and evidence that you don't need perfect grammar or sparkling language to communicate the wonderful nature of greyhounds.

i have a female greyhound whom my dad and friends bought to race but was too slow. they are the greatest pests ever. loyal, cute and sooo funny. i wake up everyday to see her dopey face!!

Pests indeed. Mine are always pestering me for affection and I give it freely for they are every bit as loyal and cute and funny as the message above claims them to be.

But the kind of pest you want around forever and ever, pestering for love, attention, play, food, and a warm place next to me to sleep. Greys are the pests of my heart. Thanks for your posts.
