Greyhounds usually stand or lie, no sit

Sit! Good boy, almost (image greyghoundcrossroads.com)
Most greyhounds will not sit in the way almost all other dog breeds do. They find it uncomfortable because of their long backs and heavily muscled legs. If you see a greyhound, it will almost certainly be standing or lying down.
Of course, there are exceptions to the rule. The exception above is hasn't quite mastered the art of the dog sit position, but he's having a go.
The exception below has mastered the art alright, in more ways than one. Her name is Jamila and she is pictured at the 2008 Holroyd City Petfest, held in September at Holroyd Park in the western suburbs of Sydney. Jamila is shown judging a colouring-in competition, another activity which greyhounds don't normally do.
