Daisy meets Mick the Irish terrier

March 10th 2009 21:47
irish terrier puppy pup

There was a new dog at the park this morning! I was so excited I almost knocked the Big Brindle over with my tail.

He's a Friendly Fuzzy Face, although his human called him Mick and said he is an Irish terrier.

He's not a bad runner — I had to move into second gear to stay ahead of him. He's very agile though — turns like a jet ski, just like me.

We had a giggle when his human described him to my humans. "He keeps me awake all night, he barks at everyone that walks past the house, and he's destroying the back garden," she said.

"Apart from that, he's a great dog."

Friendly Fuzzy Face almost fell over his tail laughing. "There'll be plenty more where that came from," he chortled.

It's nice to meet a dog who knows how to control his humans and how to enjoy life.

Ah, yes, Terrior for digger. Atta girl Daisy & Mick. Hope this proves to be a long and productive friendship. Maybe the Big Brindle will learn to play along. Janice

Hi Janice,

The best part was telling the owner of the Irish terrier that greyhounds sleep all day and all night. She had a sort of faraway longing look in her eye

It''s amazing how many people get that look when you tell them about greyhound sleeping habits. AKA comatose 98% of the time. Then waking up to eat, drink and poop... oh, right, the walk if we will bestir ourself, if not that's ok with the hounds.

Hi Tracy,

It's a good name isn't it. But sooooo much energy. I'm with Janice - sleephounds for me
