Don't stay mad at me for long. You have your friends, your job, and your recreation. I have only you.

You probably had a decent reason. I yelled at Scratchy the other day for coming into the study - looking for a pat - while I was losing an online blitz chess game. Like it was his fault I blundered that knight.
If I do that again he might stop coming into the study to say hello, and won't that serve me right.

It is your duty as the one who loves a dog to be happy as much as you possibly can. That way the dog can relax for a bit, and be off duty in terms of making you happy.

Thanks, I know I did have a good reason but I still feel bad. But he's definitely been quite belligerent lately and not listening when I tell him to stop barking (he's been hanging around with the wrong crowd). Yet, he's still irresistibly gorgeous.
Hi Carolyn
Aw, I don't want him to feel bad and that's why it takes me about 4 mins to apologise to him.

I make sure I'm always in a good mood too. You never know when the next bone is on offer.
Wags,
Scratchy
